New location?
THE 100 MILER, NOV 24 @ BOHMONT RANCH, ELKHEAD
Anyone know anything about the place?
Why not at Hardwood Hills Ranch anymore?
No more "VW", "the Wall" and all that pain inflicting stuff?
Jared last year...

Re: Ozark 100 Miler - who knows what???
Well, originally, it was never supposed to be at the same place twice--or so I was told.
This place is a fairly large area, right by Chadwick (instead of taking the right at the fork in Sparta, you go straight about 10 miles). MHSC had a race there earlier this year. It's a rocky, off camber place with plenty of potential to make VW and Something special mild, tame, boring...
It reminds me of riding in Colorado (rainbow trail, not that Jeep stuff), it's got a lot of trails running along ridges, and hills that just keep going forever.
By the end of the race, two of my pinch bolts for my front axle had worked their way out, it was that rough. Collin Wright has another story from that race, but I'm not going to go telling that one on here...After his detour though Spud said "that's gnarly, ain't it?"
While the 100 miler at Mansfield had some nice relaxing trails from mile 2 through 24, I don't think we'll have that same chance to rest up for the next section this year.
I just hope AJ's pizza is still around, it looked closed last I went by there.
