Lost a few things at Carbondale

#1 Post by ktm1991 » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:47 am

I lost an air box cover for a 2011 ktm and a helmet cam was curious if either of these made it back to the scoring trailer or home with anyone? Also thanks to whosoever brought my seat back to scoring it made it a lot easier to ride the last three laps!

As many times as I struck my head on limbs and the like, I wondered how many cameras were going to bite it.

We had a local recreation rider turn in an orange & black side panel that looks like it could be your air box cover. Found your seat on my first sweep lap and rode directly as possible to the scoring booth - figured somebody would be painfully missing this vital part. Also found a helmet cam on my second sweep but near as I know, that has been reclaimed. If I find another during clean up I'll be sure to let you know. Hope you had a fun time in spite of your difficulties. - Paul D.

I blew my mount apart when I hit an evergreen tree. Luckily I had it tethered, but I had to ride the last lap with it banging against my helmet. Kind of distracting. Got some footage of the sky and tree tops at speed
