Lithium Batteries

#1 Post by bshack » Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:27 pm

Who has experience with Lithium Batteries? What kind do I buy? I have a Husky 310. The stock battery in the Husky TXC 310R seems unable to handle the workload most of the time, and I would like to buy a battery that will get the job done! Comments?

I have had a Shorai LFX14L2-BS12 in my 2013 KTM 300 XC since it was new and love it. I now have about 25 miles on the bike LOL.

I had one in my 2011 kTM 350 and wasn't all that impressed with it. At first it made a huge difference but after about 3 rides it felt the same as the stock battery. I can't remember what brand it was, bought it at Letko and I think they only carry one brand of them. Not worth the money in my opinion.

The LFX14L2-BS12 looks to be 14 Ah and 210 CCA. My stock battery is less than 7 Ah and 130 CCA. I would think that would be a heck of a difference compared to stock.
