Need referral: Crank rebuild

#1 Post by Brveagle » Wed May 08, 2013 7:48 pm

Hey guys. I am looking for a referral for a place locally (kansas city) that can press my crankshaft apart and install a new rod and rod bearing. Bike is a 2002 rm250 that sucked water in on its side during a pond crossing. This bike has zero aftermarket crank options so i am forced to rebuild the stock one.

I dont mind shipping it but i'd prefer to stay local and support a fmhsc vendor if i am able to.

Thanks ryan

Give Tim Wolfe a call at Motorcare in Lawrence 785-843-3449, he is a racer in FMHSC and great mechanic.

Give Jamie a call at Donnell's. 816-478-9393. He can check and see if they have the parts in stock and Larry in service does a great job rebuilding crankshafts.
