Hello Racers, Family and Friends:

Come visit us for Memorial Day Weekend 2013. It will be filled with fun, two-wheeled off-road events (See FMHSC.COM home page for links to the fliers). For the second year in a row a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project. Please thank the soldiers who make it possible for us to enjoy our freedoms.

The HS course has one of the most spectator friendly sections on the schedule. Come see some of the terrain and obstacles the racers are dealing with every 9 miles.

Concessions will be provided all weekend by Topeka’s only BUDDY DOG’S. There will be giveaways and prizes…30 second girl followed by a shot-gun start… Awards for the FASTEST LAP in each class!!!

Saturday and Sunday evenings there will be Mini-Bike Races on a dirt oval track (Pro Purse)
Monday morning there will be a PEE-WEE Race (FMHSC style) followed by the 6th running of The BEST of KANSAS MOTORCYCLE RACE (MX/HS/TT) ($1000 Pro Purse) showcasing the best motorcycle racers in the area. FREE camping all weekend.

Gate all three days-$12, two days-$8 or $5/day.

A couple of more highlights are the venue is close for most of us and with the price of gas you get a load of seat time for the buck. Plus camping with friends and the best concessions of the year. We will be out all three days for the fun!

There are a couple of new creek sections that will be marked with BLUE arrows. They will be a bit more challenging a marked as HARD. There will be an EASY route too....

Will these (Blue) routes, that are marked as hard, be a faster line or just more challenging?

Ooooohhh........depending on skill level, determination, willpower, knowledge, internal fortitude, and how out of control you ride (I’ve seen you ride)… they should be worth taking....

Hmmmmm, "Skill Level", I'm a little short there, "Determination", well, I try hard, "Willpower", I'm kinda off and on with that, "Knowledge", I've got enough to get me in trouble, "Intestinal Fortitude", not sure, that sounds like a GI tract issue, and "Out of Control", I know that drill. So I'll take a swing at the hard line. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have the EMT's and/or Trophy Girls staged nearby though........
