I'm back...kind of. It all goes back together tomorrow.

Anywho, anyone who thinks a 4-stroke is too much to handle once you open the valve cover is crazy. Apart from the multiple valves, cams (unless it's a unicam design), valve springs, cam chain, buckets, valve shims, etc etc it's basically the same thing as a 2-stroke.

Yeah, right, sure..., what he said just like a 2 stroke rebuild, but involving an additional 20 hours along with the extra grand and change to get the same end results.swedishfishmx wrote:LOL, who made this a thread?

Actually you'd be surprised. All the parts I needed where under $500. My assumption was based on the fact that the bottom half of the engine looked as bad as the top .
Was the bike at the bottom of a river for awhile, or did the head gasket leak while it sat all winter?
Come clean Brad... alot of us wanna hear how that top end, got that nasty!
