I agree Wadedawg. It should be a class of discovery. I think no trophies would be in order and no points. When you are truly ready to race move to 800 or C classes. When I started I never raced trail rider but I remember many races when I raced 800 that two laps in a couple 900s passed me like I was standing. The more people are in the correct class the better for all. My early years racing; you know how frustrating it was to get 8th and be the first rider not to break out?

The trail riders class is just as important as all the rest. The only class I won was trailrider. Most of us that year banged it out and their was always a pile up of us at every muddy creek crossing or log or whatever. I think I won that year because I always grabbed throttle and instantly went a different way good or bad results, away I went. Even though I only won one race. It seemed almost every race some newbies signed up and blew way out of the bracket - not even close (2008 - LOOK IT UP). At 12 races one hit wonders step in and ran away with it.

So my suggestion would be if someone wants to sign up as a first time rider and they break out of the class by a certain percentage overage, say how about the 69 percent plus 6 more for a 75 percent - then they get kicked into the class in which they should have been. Then it's TRULY a learning experience for them and Forward Motion as it should be. They would be of course told in advance. Trouble is you got a lot of trailer work to do before you can post AND...What is the correct "breakout" for this situation?

That used to just burn my britches!

With all of this 2014 talk going on - is there a preliminary schedule available for viewing yet?

Thats pretty easy. When you get your number plates from Bike Graphix, they give you a hand full of "mini" front plates.

I stuck mine on my trucks back window. However having all of us put them on the backs of our helmets is a great idea.

When I get my 6xx numbers I will do just that.
