Lawrence Area.

#1 Post by ososlo » Tue Oct 29, 2013 12:18 am

Hello all,
I am pretty new to the whole hare scramble thing. As I was looking at the numbers roster, I noticed quite a few people are from the Lawrence area. Where do you practice at? My family owns a bunch of property in Osage County so I ride there, and there is a massive rock quarry that's great for practice. The downside is that's a 45 min drive, and sucks on the way back. I was just curious if you all get together in groups during the week/weekend, and go somewhere. If so, myself and my cousin would love to join. We are far from the greatest riders but love to ride. Any info would be greatly appreciated,

Perry lake trails are always open. If possible, try and ride there during the week days. During the weekends it's full of quads and the trails are non directional. You can also ride at Carbondale for a small fee.
