Milford Saturday Night 03-22-14

So here it is, finally spring, decent temps, and one of easiest track we have. Likely about third or fourth.

The course is 6 miles long and runs as far in one direction as it can so that it has a nice flow and not all twisty turny but there is some of that in there two. Several hill climbs in there, a couple of sections we have not used in a long time, and of course, lots of stuff you have seen over and over. Weather looks perfect for riding and good for spectating. Dress warm in the morning. Space yourselves out like the Milford Gate post explains.

The fun factor will be high for this one!!

New people, this is the one to come to for a first timer. Split race so not much lapping which is a plus for both races. Split race also helps the sign up go quickly. Split races mean you get two extra hours of spectating fun.

Regular riders, you already know how fun Milford is. I admit it doesnt challenge you enough and we have ridden it so much it is a little deja vu but it is still fun.

Brand new class that races just for fun. No trophies and no points equals no pressure. Only one hour. Numbers start with 12. Bikes start on row 11 just ahead of the JR's.

Peewee course is medium difficulty by their standards and one of the longest in a while. Parents, feel free to sweep or scatter out around the track.

Remember there are no concessions at this one so bring your snacks.

I couldnt be more sorry that we did not run it last week but I made the best decision I could given the circumstances. I promise, nobody wanted it to run more than I did. I get to go back again this week instead of going on a family trip. Dont give up on FMHSC, we will always run if we can.

Travel safe. #740 said he's seen several cars off the roadway on I70 due to icy bridges.
