Fantastic

Great weekend for racing. The best part had to be the little ones on Saturday night. Racing under the light have to be the most fun. When will we have a hare scramble at night?

Spud puts one on evey year I believe, but it is a Spud course so it's most likely not rider friendly!! It would be cool to have a site in our series do one maybe at a familiar place and run like a 4 mile loop to help with sweeping and breakdowns and light failures and such! Perry, Paul, Dan anyone up for this I think it could be a lot of fun and a nice change of pace!

I think a night race would be a lot of fun. Would probably need a good amount of commitment to do it, but I feel that people would be up for the challenge. I think you would need to have it at a more technical place to keep the bike speed down or else it could get dangerous. El Dorado would be perfect because the property isn't huge and there is a lot of trail near itself. "If you build it, they will come."

Turn out may be low. It will require everyone, I mean almost everyone will have to buy lights. Now I know that many of the upper level class guys have considered lighting options for the 100 miler. There are some cheaper options, but lighting equipment for the most part is an expensive accessory for guys that will use it once or twice a year. There will be riders that won't ride just because they don't have lights.

Maybe it should be considered as a part of a two race weekend event.

Yea I wouldn't expect it to be a points race or anything just one for fun! But that's a good idea to have it part of a two day weekend deal!

I'd have to pony up for some new lights for something like this.
Anyone who has ridden at night, even for fun; it's a cool deal.
Racing would be a fun time.

just like I did for riding my mountain bike at night... I would make the investment in lights to do a night race for sure
