1) Thanks to those that made the course, and the event possible. I heard the AM race was slick, but man was it awesome for the later race.
2) Thank you to the random people in the woods that cheer us on. You all don't know how awesome it is to hear that. It gives me that little extra burst of energy that I never think I have. It means a lot to me, every time I hear someone clapping (even though I know you don't know me, and are just being nice.
3) I ran out of gas not once....not twice....but THREE TIMES!!! Thanks to the sweepers, and the 24oz of fuel that helped me get back. (Yes I have learned my lesson.
4) Thanks to the big tree that took out my radiator and side plastics...and not my leg .
I am around racing (auto) for my day job, and drove back sat night from the drag racing event in STL, just so I could come race with my FMHSC family. Honestly this group of racers is an amazing group to be a part of.
Don't know if I will make it back tomorrow due to bike damage, but if I do, I'll have a smile on my face waiting for that board to drop. Have a safe night everyone.
Erik

Erik,
I'm glad you got some fuel. By the time I made it back you were already gone. I checked with scoring when I got done sweeping and they said you made it out ok. Good luck with the bike.
