Elbow pads/protection?

#1 Post by Frank » Thu Oct 16, 2014 8:12 pm

Looking to get new elbow pads. The ones that I have keep sliding down towards the wrists. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Well I finally got fed up with that situation with various different brands and I ended up just double zip tying them to my chest protector. Of course I have my mittens zip tied to my jacket too. Never loose em and you only look stupid if you leave them dangling...well unless your me and your just gonna look stupid anyway so just zip tie them on!
(Truth is if I zip tied my bike together I would loose a lot less stuff on the track too... Dan suggested that I could stop banging into all the rocks, jocks and trees, but that's outside of my skill set.)

Troy Lee Designs make a sano set of guards that are made of lycra (bicycle short material) that stay put. I used to have the same issue - but these TLD guards are great IMO. No arm pump either.
