Walters Ranch Video.

#1 Post by oldmandave59 » Mon Jun 15, 2015 8:24 pm

I will have video up soon of AM race with Mike Trent and Jason Schupp who I met before and after the race. It was an AWESOME battle on first lap into 2nd lap.We were 3 seconds apart on first lap with Todd Sexton. Mike, my E mail is wfo. trailriders@comcast.net and I will keep in contact for our next WFO get together. I know I have about 10 to 15 minutes of our battle before we got split up by slower riders but I had you in my view most of first lap and until I crashed trying to pass on 2nd lap on the gnarly rock section. Any one wanting pictures immediately, just E mail you name and bike # and bike color and make.

Well, I have a good one for you, my seat dislodged when I crashed in the rocks and the release was jammed so I rode a lap with the seat sideways and waited until I got to Carol to hold my bike while I jerked on release cable and reset the seat. Ended up with a large blister on my but and tore the blister before race ended. Won't be sitting for a while. I also reviewed rear video and I have a lot of good front and rear video by constantly wiping front and rear view lenses as I was racing. You have to keep a little distance from guy in front to keep lens clean, something I'm used to, but cuts your chances on passing, but I enjoy the video so it's a habit. I did catch back up passing slower rider on 1ST lap and have mike and Jason in view for a lap and a half.

Thanks for posting the video Dave, do you still mount your go pro under your helmet visor?
