Big Springs race site sold??

I read a rumor on another forum that the site of the Big Springs race had been sold to a hunting group and that this would be the last year of racing there. Any truth to this or just some internet BS.

Wow! I can't believe this has been on here for 3 days and has over 150 views but no one is saying anything about it. I heard pretty much the same thing. I'm surprised the race there is still on the schedule, but wondered if maybe it would still go on as a condition of the sale. I think it is very sad that this happened, as Perry always put on some great events. I'm sure the grumpy old neighbor to the west was pretty happy when (if) he heard the news....
