THURMAN UPDATE

#1 Post by jerad741 » Mon Oct 10, 2016 12:59 pm

Jerad (Thurman promoter) : Just wanted to give a quick update on the track. This year we are running it backwards from last year and changed things up a lot. There are not as many creek crossing this year as the rain removed some of them. Remember the bridge we spent weeks building, it is all in some other town now! We have almost 7 miles and it is really coming together great. We worked as hard as we could to smooth it out as best we could. We have a great weather forecast this week, nothing like our first race. Our local youth wrestling team is running the food stand so please support them. A lot of them are good friends and help on the track all so we can have a place to ride. I always want everyone to remember the land owner and how hard it is to find places to have races. Me and the people that help put this race together give every single penny to the land owner. When my kids win money in the AA class the last few years they give it to the land owner. So with that said, the land owner is great and just want everybody to remember to thank him and her.

Thanks, Jerad
I hope to see ya all Sunday!!

You heard the Man... He and his have put in place, at a great cost and sacrifice... a course of Irritated Female persuasion,... which can result in Championship altering results. ......
The saddest sound in all MotorSports is the noise the drivetrain makes as you slowly coast to a complete stop.

Does anyone speak Wirefryer? I need that translated. It may be profound or it could be some kind of discrimination? I think it says the course is hard and there could be some different folks running up front in their class.

Literally the hardest thing I've read in a long time. Still trying to figure out what he is trying to get across.

Good luck everyone and have fun.

Perfect moisture = hero dirt!
Take your time on practice as this course has lots of surprises with all the elevation changes. Lots of ravines so do NOT cut any corners or straighten out any lines. Great weather forecast.

Run to your bike start!!

No reason is good enough to miss this one
