Ben good to see you back on the message boards. Stay true to your convictions with the Raiders and don't let them pull you over to the dark side known as the Chiefs or Chefs according to one commercial. When they give you crap about it tell em where you're from and then ask exactly how many super bowls have the Chiefs been to and how many have they won? Usually quiets them down pretty good. BTW I think Miami has a pretty good claim to the first draft pick I believe they are 0-13, but it would be great if their only win comes against the Patriots.

Hey All,
I am sitting here right now with Burd Dawg and reading all the posts, He LOVES it. His smile is from ear to ear knowing that all of you care. We have fun opening up the sight and reading the love. Keep it up, I will continue to read it out loud to him and it will be part of the therapy. He is even getting close to blogging himself. Stay tuned he has lots to say.

Hello,

Just a note to update the FMHSC community that I dropped in on Ben and his family this evening at Madonna in Lincoln. The dude is looking good. We had a good conversation, he was making complete sense. He had just a couple of lapses of memory that any of us could have made. His whole family was happy and relaxed and looking forward to his discharge date that should be before year end. Ben REALLY wants to be home for Christmas and it just might happen! After everything I've read about his condition and considering it has been less that 2 months since the accident, he has made huge strides in recovery. I think that his Mom used the "miracle" word in their blog and I can't argue with that. The guy is going to be fine.

The great news is that I'm coming home tomorrow! WooooooHOOOOOOOO, I will be back to see my new son and se what he smells like and everything, Yall are all awesome, So Wade, and Chuck ,and shiv and Jeremy and Chris and anyone else who is coming by on Sunday for the sleigh and the KTM, I'll see you there! Hey Ben. I am glad to hear that you have made it back home. No more hospital food and cranky nurses for you. You take it easy on those broken ribs, put some loctite on those screws and clamp that clavicle together. Take it easy and keep getting better. Loren

Talked w/ Rhonda yesterday. Ben is doing well and is doing a 1 hr therapy session 3X a week. I didn't ask her when he would be going back to work, she was just glad that the baby and Ben were both doing well
