...but if all goes remotely according to plan, me and my non-motorized bike should be pulling in to Rattlesnake Ridge race location about 10:30/11:00 or so. So, yes, I'll be the dork in lycra sporting a bike with <1" wide slick tires, but I wanted to come out and smell some exhaust and say hi to some familiar faces. I might make Jeff join me for at least part of the 100 mile round trip! It'd be some good training.... :P

Anyway, I plan to be around long enough to see the noon starts & visit with the non-racers before pointing back south.

What class do you race on the MTB? Are you a local KC area rider? It is great training too! :)

Well...I did include "if all goes according to plan", and...that plan has changed. So, you can go ahead and return all the gifts you bought in anticipation of my vist

I do reserve the right to try and make another race this fall the target of a 100+ mile ride to visit/spectate, but this weekend doesn't "fit" afterall.

Enjoy racing this course, gang - my ONLY ever win came on that property, so it's got a special place in my heart!

Be safe - go fast - have FUN!
