Spread the word!!
I have an 08 KTM 530 EXC-R. I am the second owner of this bike. I got the bike from a ADV guy in Denver and I don’t think he even took it out much. It had 12 hrs on it and it was in storage when I picked it up. It’s title is plated and clear. The bike has what I consider to have normal dings and scratches related to its use and age. I’m moving to a 200 or 300 xcw for scrambles and such. I’ve had fun on several dual sport trips to Moab, Taylor Res, CO, and others. I’ve always trucked the bike out and home based from the campsite. My wife and I have a 3 year old so no more extended bike trips for me for a while. The pictures will have a description of what you are looking at – warning!!!!! the bike is not showroom clean.
Price: $4,400 with damper, $4,100 without
Miles: 945 Hours: 53.7
Extras:
➢ Scotts damper with riser

➢ I’ve only had to change exhaust shims once. All other measurements have remained in spec.
➢ New battery this spring
➢ New steering head bearings last fall
➢ 7602racing carb vent kit with filter and airbox snorkel to prevent stalling in deeper water.
➢ 72-250 and 76-250 rear shock spring. 76-250 is mounted on the bike.
➢ Samco thermostat bypass kit with burp tank in airbox
➢ KTM radiator fan kit
➢ KTM bling oil pump cover
➢ Extra air filter
➢ EE front sprocket guard
➢ EE bash plate
➢ Acerbis hand guards
➢ Hot cams shim kit
➢ Front turn signals and bar switch.
➢ Baja Designs LED rear tail light and fender (tail light has never been wired – all wiring is included.
Also has an EE shark fin
The plastic is original and shows 5 years of scratches. The tail pipe has a few scratches from falling over at Taylor Reservoir. The first owner stripped out the trans oil fluid check bolt, which seems to be a common problem with this bike. It’s been coiled and sealed with loctite. I just measure old each time and replace. The level never changes. If you search the net you will find a lot of 530 guys seal up this bolt. It only has like a 7NM spec and everybody strips it. I’m very good about scheduled maint on all my stuff. I always change the engine oil/air filter after a day or two of riding. I’ve used Bel-ray products for engine and air filter. The bike runs great! There is no smoke from exhaust. Thanks for looking
Cheers,
Brian
