Would like to know what air pressure some of the upper class riders are running in the front tires and rear tires for some of the different MO and KS FMHSC races. Can you also state the cc,s your bikes are and possibly the tire brand and type? It would be great for you to mentor us lower class riders so we too can progress up through the classes also. Thanks

Keep riding seat time is the most important part. I run as much as 20 psi to avoid flats a DNF hurts the average more than slower lap times

Tire choice will be across the board. Like jason said, go out and ride while playing with tire pressure. You should be able to notice a difference when you start going under 10psi and over 15psi. When I go above 15psi on the ktm the front end starts getting a little wild. Guys that do more mud races might go down to 10-8psi. It seems like anything under 10ish and you are asking for trouble. I've had good luck with using heavy duty tubes but they are crazy heavy. I know a 700 guy who did the last 3 laps at Walters 1 with a flat front. I'm not sure what his rim looks like now-but it can be done I guess.
