That is terrible news. I did not know Randy that well. He helped me out by bringing a much needed clutch cable with him to the Melvern race for my Husky last year. I would look for him at each race event just to say hi or chat for a minute. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP.

I raced Randy all year and you can't find a better guy. He got first and I got second for year end points. I would always go over to BS with him which was fine but we always had to go deliver spare parts through out the lay of the land to all the different camps. Always helping someone. He was a very modest guy. Most of the time he didn't even get his trophy. I had the honor of picking up his year end 1st place trophy and delivering it TO HIM for a change. Prayers to the family. He will be missed.
God bless.

Bad deal...! Randy would race you clean AFTER he helped you find the part you needed to race in the first place from someone he knew in the pits 8) .

Quiet, non confrontational guy..., but He had the patience of a Tibetan Monk when he got on your back fender, he knew you where gonna screw up at some point  .

RIP

My neighbor, Dennis Utt, sends his condolences... He doesn't have internet access so I'm posting for him. He and Randy raced the same class and always seemed to find each other at some point in the race, as they rode about the same speed. The one that made the least mistakes would usually win between them! Dennis like racing with him and looked forward to seeing him at the races.

I only met him once and the last race I saw them both at (last year) I think they finished 2nd and 3rd... Very sorry to hear of the loss of a good guy and fellow mc rider.

Godspeed Randy!
