I've been checking up on the weather for Thurman and it looks like we might be getting wet! We have a 60% chance of rain with 78% humidity. Also suppose to Thunderstorm Saturday night With a breeze of 13 mph. Hope it rains a bit to keep dust down but don't want it to be muddy! But im ready!!!

I have been watching that also. Weather.com says 40% chance for Sat and Sun. which means we won't be bringing the motorhome. I left a really expensive mirror off of a motorhome in a driveway into a field in Witchta one time. It seems those things don't steer well while being pulled in reverse out of the mud.

As dry and dusty as it has been lately, I would gladly welcome a little bit of wetness.......after a lap it would probably tack up nicely! Looking forward to the race!

I'm working up in that area (just a touch away from Chicago, I know) and stopped by the race site tonight (couldn't resist). It looks like it could use some rain.
