Schedule updates coming soon

#1 Post by Iamdanjohnson » Mon May 26, 2014 8:30 pm

Ballard 2 needs to run since it is set up. I am unavailable this coming weekend. Likely move Adrian 1 to Father's Day as much as I don't want to. One other option would be a two day at Adrian maybe.

No plan will fit for everyone. Hope whatever just fits for most.

Do what ya gotta do. We have throw aways for folks who cant make certain dates and for me Fathers day would be so cool for fathers and sons to spend the day around dirtbikes and racing!

I'm open. I wouldn't mind this Sunday off since I have to work Saturday but this Sunday would work so we could knock it out. Fathers day works too.

Me and Stickney had a thought yesterday. Since Adrian and Ballard are so close what about a Saturday Ballard 2 and a Sunday Adrian 1?

Just a thought but I will be at Ballard 2 regardless.

Great job Saturday Dan. It was pretty obvious you were stressed. I think you and Dennis made the right call. Sure didn't need something like Eldon, Mo and the 9 Hr last year. I would like to be invited back to Ballard.

Ballard is for sure on June 8th.

I think the two day at different locations is cool but likely way too much work to move for most of us with RV's.

So the options for Adrian are...

Father's Day (I have it there on the schedule so that Ballard could show on the front page) I dont think we have ever done a Father's Day race as I dont care for the idea. I think that is a great day spent with family. I guess some could fit that in on Saturday. This one gives us more back up dates if needed.

June 22. That would be on a MORE date and I try not to do that but Steve knows reschedules just happen that way.
AND/OR we could do a two day Adrian that weekend which would leave us the 29th weekend as a back up date.

I really like the two day idea to save on gas and such but man is it ever a pain if you cant run both days!

Feel free to offer feedback. I will decide something in the next week or so to allow more planning.

I would prefer a two day at Adrian. I do enjoy time with my family on fathers day.

Dan,
I like the two day option also. I might get divorced for missing Father's Day. I've got a Dirtwise class that Friday and Saturday. But maybe getting divorced would alow more time for moto?? What ever the group wants is still fine with me. Maybe the drought will kick in by then??

If I had a choice I would prefer. A double at Adrian. Twice the fun, half the travel gas, half the set up and camp tear down. That leaves fathers day and our back up date intact ...well pending decent weather anyway.

Let's do an Adrian Double Header. I think they are cool and twice the fun for half the fuel. Besides, my little one is starting to show more interest and I am bound to get her to race in at least one of the Pee Wee races.

2nd shot at a 2day? Odds are we'll get that one!

I vote for Adrian double header, not on Father's Day weekend.
