I'm telling ya. Buy the elastic head band mount for GoPro and cut the mount off and mount that thing to the face guard on your helmet. The sight line is way better than on top of the helmet, and you are all but guaranteed to never lose it from there. Way too much money spent to risk losing it off the top of your helmet.
