First MHSC races Merwin, and now another location without rocks... Has the Missouri series gone soft or something?

The site works, its just been a little slow recently.

Here is the course overview from MHSC:

"We layed in mostly all new trail. The OMA race held a month ago left us some ruts but the place is large enough we didn't have to use that trail. Although we do cross it a number of times. I ran the loop Saturday and came up with 7.8 miles so far. Got one more section to do which should add something like a mile plus a short run below the start area that I skipped when I rode the loop. Too lazy to open two gates. I'm thinking it will be real close to 9 miles when we are done. If you like rocks you will be sadly disappointed. I can count them on one hand... After the run around the pit area it starts out with a couple of fast flowing sections of open of woods leading up to the big woods... This section is probably the most technical with lots of twist and turns. As well as a number or logs to jump over and ditches to cross. After this the next section is a little more open again with fast flowing trail. One section drops off a hill side into a river bottom for a short run through willows before you climb back up to the ridge top. If you like hill climbs, we got them. There is a number of hill climbs. Some steep and somewhat demanding (but way fun). All the really hard ones have an Easy (longer) way around if needed. We have some long easy climbs too. There is one pretty steep (and long) down hill that has a good run out at the bottom. Make sure your brakes are working. or it could get exciting. After the steep down hill is a smooth flat creek with a sandy bottom that runs for 1/4 mile or a little more. It looks like a sand road. Starts out loose and gets firmer as you gain speed toward the end of it. It is a absolute hoot. Should catch top gear before shutting down to tuck back into the woods and another cool up hill.

As of Saturday there was good moisture in the woods but starting to get pretty dry out in the open. Hoping we catch a little rain this week to settle the dust around the pit area. "
