I had a shop fire, lost everything. Trying to salvage what we can, no insurance on the bikes. What we had: 2012 300xcw, 2012 250xc, 2009 250 xcw. Anything plastic is gone, all of the wiring/hoses etc are gone. Hard parts are all that is left.

The motor from the 300xcw is sold. The other two motors are still available. All 3 frames are available, the '09 and the '12 were tagged, so they could be tagged again(clean street titles). We have one wheel set left, from the '12. All three fork sets are here. I have all 3 shocks and swingarms. Everything will need to be cleaned up, I've found that oven cleaner and a scrub brush work well. The engines are as clean as I could get them, we drained the oil and put new in, plus put some oil in the top end and I turn them over every couple weeks or so. I have all 3 carbs too.

I don't know how to price this stuff, I had the 3 engines on ktm talk 6 months ago and sold the one but didn't get much attention on the other two. I'd like $1300 for the '12 250xc motor and $1000 for '09 250xcw. We bought the 12 250 from CZ last spring and it had 55 hours on it, the '12 300 was bought new from CZ by me. The '09 engine had roughly 50 hours on a fresh top end, we owned it for 3/4 years. Both engines ran great, no trans problems either.

Frames, Im thinking $300 for the titled frames and $50 for the other one. Fork sets, $100, they will need completely rebuilt, the lowers are rusty. The wheel set from the '12 $175. Pipes, bars, carbs, swingarms, etc make me an offer.

I guess I should note that the bikes did NOT catch on fire. The gas tanks still had gas in them, they just got pretty hot.

Do you ever come to KC or Topeka? I'd like to buy the wheel set from you off your 2012 assuming it's an 18" rear.

what kind of shape are the forks in? I know you state that they need to be rebuilt, but are the lower tubes scratched up? How many hours, etc are on them? I am interested in a set.

Someone needs to buy the 2012 250xc motor! It has sx head, one of a kind porting on cylinder, cases are stuffed and transmission gears have been polished. All work was done by TH Racing in texas. ($2500 in motor mods). Has better overall power and bottom end than a normal 250. I use to own this bike. Good luck!

Thanks for the plug! My boy said the old bike ran better than the new 250xc he has now, so......maybe we should swap them out and sell the new one?!

And to answer the question above about the forks, they are probably just going to be for parts. the lowers are rusty and will need replaced. make an offer, i have no idea what "parts" forks are worth.

Still have both motors. How about 750 each? Put a kicker on both this week and they still crank over fine.(I put oil in the cylinders back then)

Still have all of the other parts too, three frames, all the forks/pieces, etc. Buy both motors and you can have everything else. Including titled frames. Street legal ks titles.
