OK so some of us added a few miles to race with a little side tour, but with the many, many trails at Walters Ranch, it was near impossible to mark them all. It was an AWESOME RACE and Dan was wanting to see where we missed the trail so I put up a short video. The best part was the rider stopping to help a downed rider.Who was this? You are AWESOME, THANKS.
Here is the picture and video. Thanks Dan for asking for video. I hope to get more involved in helping out in future and plan on going to race next weekend if Jason's Playgrounds gets rained out again.
Here is problem area.

For what it's worth, that was a 90 degree corner with a crazy amount of marking all along the far side of the corner and all they way back into the trail. There was a 180 degree trail running away from there which is what several people took. I seriously never thought anyone would take that as the marking all led into the correct trail. I usually block every option that isn't right but that particular one was very wide so I just put one small bit of brush across it. I can tell in the video that the brush is gone. I will know now to block even the things I don't think anyone would notice. Funny thing is that there are actually four other wrong options and I ribboned every one of them. I thought I had a wrong arrow up along that trail but I cant see it in the video so I guess it wasn't there.

Also, I should note that the way I arrow, you should never at any time be in a place you don't see an arrow. Each one is placed so that a rider never loses site of an arrow. I think that is the very thing that stopped most of the riders who went down that wrong trail. Watching it on the video makes it more obvious how that trail could be taken.

It must have got knocked down in practice, because I was on the 600 row and in top 5 and, I took it on 1st lap. Didn't take me long to figure I was wrong.

I was chasing someone and ended up going down there during the first lap as well. I was more focused on the rider ahead of me than the markings. We ended up with eight people scratching our heads.

The guy coming the other way on the trail should've been enough to make me turn around right there, let alone the lack of arrows. Well next time I know not to focus on the racer ahead of me because he could be getting a little extra riding in.

Either way I still had fun out there.
