Due to the birth of my awesome little daughter.

However, I have been planning getting back on the seat at this next race.
Only one problem standing in my way....I spaced getting the bike ready.

This is the current condition of my Honda CR250R.



Lots of parts ordering happened this weekend.
This is the first time I have ever done a full rebuild/refresh.

So hard not to click, on every little item on the "Want" list.
Kept it to refresh parts only...and now the fun begins.
(Operation find all the bolts from July 2014... LOL)

I can't believe how many bearings in the susp. and wheels were locked up!
I might not be able to ride this thing again, if its all soft and plush.

So the swing arm is black now.
This is just a cheap-o paint, since I knew this bike gets thrashed.
However I may consider powder coating next time.



And now, this is where the frame is at, getting ready for paint.
Literally every bearing/seal inside the motor, and the suspension is new.

Looks great! Just over a week until this thing needs to be complete, I'm excited to see the end result.

So there was a delay in getting one final part.
So the Honda won't make it to Iowa....

But, that means more time for the parts to get powder coated.
And then some trick new wheels can be ordered.

I bought a KTM 300XC to take to the Iowa race,...
Guess in Iowa I will be riding orange again.
But will likely sell it after the race.
