Season points standings and other bits

#1 Post by Iamdanjohnson » Tue Oct 06, 2015 8:14 am

I post this most every year about this time so some of you may already know all of this stuff. Newer folks can learn a lot.

I have everything entered that I know of. I know everyone wants to start figuring out the what if's.

The information page has the rules which explains it all. It says 2014 rules but they didn't change in 2015. http://www.2012.fmhsc.com/index.php/inf ... vent-rules

Only ten scores, including work averages, count so the total at the right is not the total of all the points you see listed. A "d" is a low score that has dropped off. One work average sort of floats to any low score and one is for 22 points and goes in place of a race you had to miss to be able to work it.

This is a good time to look over percentiles too. Many riders are locked in at this point but there may be a few that need to move. This is also the last opportunity to move up and carry points. You should contact me if you think you need to do this. I think several of you are on the fence and I suspect you will be glad you moved up now and finished slightly lower in the next class up.

This is also a good time to ride up a class if you have your class locked down. If you decide to do that, be SURE you tell the ladies at scoring that you are only entering for that event and you DO NOT want your points to carry over. There is a box that has to be checked at sign up.

Three chances left to get in your work average (actually more like two as Hank's Place is almost full. Dont be sad when you wait and find out they dont need anyone. Call the promoter direct. I only deal with workers for the events I actually put on. The last two have promoters putting them on and my role at those events is just scoring and series stuff so you have to call the promoter at the number listed on the schedule.

Thanks to the support I get from Debbie, Jadan, Grayson, and Karly Johnson AND Dunlop, Letko, Cycle Zone, Motorcare.

It's all good!
