Big Springs will be SPLIT FORMAT

Perry has decided to try out this new format and I think it will make this race just that much better.
Feel free to let Perry and others know if you are happy to see this.
Don't forget that this is your last chance to ride this place so don't miss it and don't let your friends miss it.
New riders: this is a very good race to run as it is a very forgiving course and you will not have any issues with terrain.

I hate to see it being the last time to ride it. Perry lined out a bunch of cool stuff last year. The Red Bull Arch, Bel-Ray etc. Not gona want to miss this one.

I agree with J250. Gonna miss Big Springs and the Ole' PK shotgun starts! I hope to do well for a change this year. Seems like every year something happens and I finish outside the top 10.
I like the split race format. Makes for a little bit later day but BS is close to home for me. I wouldn't mind all races being split race.
I definitely plan to be there. So who will be bringing the supply of Crown Royal for PK???
Thanks for all you've done for us and the sport Perry. Looking forward to seeing you land on your feet! Wouldn't it be cool if he bought Carbondale?!

This will probably be the last racing event at Big Springs. The new owners have been gracious in letting us have one last event. Hopefully weather is good and everyone can come out and enjoy the weekend. Saturday April 23 there will be open practice for a $10 fee from 12-5pm. We will be providing a complimentary pulled pork and baked bean dinner starting at 6pm Saturday after practice. Gate fees apply ($5) Saturday and ($5) Sunday, ($8 and arm band for weekend). Primitive camping available Saturday night. No fee for camping and please, no LOUD generators. They will be shut off.
Concessions will be available Sunday along with Red Bull and the Wings team. The pee-wee races will be on the MX course. No pee-wee escorts without prior approval.
No riding the MX or TT course on Sunday. Can’t afford the possibility of tying up an EMT and possibly having to stop the Harescramble.
Thank you for your support. Please support your local race track and promoters.....you never know when it could go away.

GP will be fun there! Are you running the full woods course or making it shorter like they did for the gp last year? So bummed it's the last ride there but I know you will put on a great race.

It is not the GP format, it is simply the regular split format. Rows 1-5 & 10 in the first race. Then the rest of the rows in the second race.

Ahh, yep I'm an idiot haha! I was wondering why the schedule showed the normal format. Carry on! I think this was about the only non split race on the schedule last year so I forgot it was one race. I really didn't care that it was one race as its like a freeway compared to many races but I have a wedding the night before so I'm happy to race late for once haha!

Dang it Spooner you had me worried. I dislike GP races. I was figuring I might need to bring small tank. I couldn't remember what format BS ran last year. I hope there won't be a bottle neck like last year when some riders couldn't figure out how to ride through rocks.
