Still too muddy to have a race. Memorial Day is likely already all planned out for most racers so a new date will be determined. It could be in July if it is not too hot and it could be later in the fall on an open date. For those of you who seem to call me on each detail, the race date for Carbondale is listed as December 25th. I have to put something in to keep the race displayed on the schedule. It will NOT be on Christmas day!!
Spread the word.
There is an Urbancross race in Waterloo, IA on Saturday that starts early morning. Facebook has more information at Seven Four Productions
MO series has a race south of Saint Louis, MO on Sunday. You do need to be AMA for that one.

Lol, Right on Dan. It did make sense on Monday morning though when I didn't see that Carbondale was on the schedule because I live 20 minutes from there and I know that I can't even ride in my own yard track and that usually is the first to dry out.
Flyin Ryan on the Flyin Squirell is out.

Still working on the race day schedule. Split would be preferred but it is after Daylight Saving time ends so if we keep the split the schedule will be one hour earlier for everything with PW after. OR it may just be a single race on a longer track. The final schedule will be posted the week before the event.
Feel free to chime in and let us know your thoughts. The idea behind moving the schedule up one hour is based on the angle of the sun for the second race. It could be almost dangerous when you are headed west and especially so when you are headed west uphill. The sun would not be much of an issue for the PW races.
The single race format is the first choice right now since it simplifies the race day.

What did we do last year? That seemed to work out well.

I think a single race format would be good as long as the trail is long enough. I agree that the sun will be an issue later in the afternoon. It's already tough right now and we are still on DST.

I notice on the page for Carbondale that ATV's are not allowed. Doesn't say anything about golf carts but I'm going to make the throttle cable "cut proof" just in case.
