I have had a lot of powder coating done over the years and always used Rogers Powder Coating in Olathe. I always felt they treated me fairly and they do nice work and have a ton of colors to select from.motorboy1128 wrote:Any one know of aany local powder coating places? I just this past weekend while cleaning off the bench tossed the powdercoat sample chip that they gave me. you could have matched that up. I had my mountain bike done in it and it's a near perfect match.....

I hate not being able to say something good about a local company, because I 110% believe in supporting local companies, first and foremost. However.....Pumpkinpatch wrote: I have had a lot of powder coating done over the years and always used Rogers Powder Coating in Olathe. I have to personally say, out of dealing with at least 4 different local powder coating places, and spending literally 10's of thousands of dollars.
Without a doubt, the worst quality, and lowest longevity of anything I have p-coated, local was from Rogers.
Literally every piece would fade and become dull, and was very very prone to chipping and peeling. I had to warranty out so many pieces it made my head spin.
Maybe the quality has improved in the last 5 years, (but thats when I stopped using them) After swapping to other companies, no more issues with fading, less chipping, and the color was nearly the exact same.

I just used Crosslink in Edwardsville, very pleased with them and the frame looks awesome.
