To that grown man that was yelling in the pits. My eleven year old and my 7 year old boys were able to repeat back to me all the bad words that were used. I understand being frustrated, but please refrain from screaming profanities. This is a family oriented environment.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: WHAT HAPPEN IN THE 400'S
Well before everyone gets too mad at the grown man(Phillip Archibald). He was yelling at the kid (Jesse Lajoe) because on the second to last lap Jesse tried to come up beside Phillip and pass him right as they were entering scoring which resulted in Jesse t boning Phillip at a decent speed almost causing Phillip get knocked over. Remember as i said this happened right as you come into scoring. Anyway after it was all said and done Phillip realised he shouldnt have yelled at Jesse like that went to go apologize but Jesse wasn't there. So as one of you said this is a family oriented event, therefore there is no need for that kind of racing through scoring.

Re: WHAT HAPPEN IN THE 400'S
He was yelling at me and threatening my life.. because on the next to last lap I tried passing him before scoring, not in scoring though. I was scared i was gonna get punched in the mouth haha. All I was trying to do was win and I wasn't trying to take him out, I had a chance to pass, so I took it. But hey, it's racing, I'm not mad at him or anything because I know he's a good guy and I've had fun racing with him. What's in the past is in the past and anything else can be taken care of on the course. I prefer to let the racing do the talking. Long story short, he was angry because I put his pregnant wife in danger (supposedly she was standing by scoring) and i crashed by her. I don't blame him for being mad. It's all good. Looking forward to racing with y'all at warrensburg!

Re: WHAT HAPPEN IN THE 400'S
First off, I want to apologize for my language in front of the young kids and their parents. Sorry if I offended you. With that being said, on the 2nd to the last lap - while entering scoring - Jesse tried to pass me, wrecked into me and took out the scoring clock. Bottom line - yes I let my temper get the better of me and I said things I shouldn't have said. I wanted to apologize to Jesse in person, but he had already left. I have been racing this series for 4 years and at every race Dan says not to pass the tenth of a mile that is scoring; we have the whole track to do that. I commend Jesse, he said it right - it is all taken care of on the racetrack and no need to carry it past that. No hard feelings, it was a great race.

Well said Jesse and Phillip. Kudos to you both! I know most all of us have said and done things on the track we are not real proud of but hey....it's racing. Testosterone and horsepower with a little dirt thrown in can sometimes get the best of us all.
Keep it fun!
