Dirt tricks timing chain tensioner, new in box

#1 Post by xDxKEIMx » Tue Apr 05, 2016 11:20 pm

These work way better than the stock tensioners. gets rid of the annoying ticking sound too so it won't sound like your valves need adjusted all the time. Never been used still in the box. $60

I'll vouch for this part... my stock KTM tensioner failed during a firstfire attempt of a silly expensive rebuilt engine resulting in full lockup of the engine, fortunately at cranking speed.

After the EMT's got my heart restarted again  , and the kids dug all the wrenches back out of the wall, I was guided by one of our local shops to this part.

It takes 2 minutes to install, gets rid of the ticking noise, and it will not fail at high rpm.

Mine cost just under a C note and I had to wait for 2 weeks to get it, this is a bargin.

The saddest sound in all MotorSports is the noise the drivetrain makes as you slowly coast to a complete stop.
