Orrick workers REALLY needed for 8/14.

#1 Post by Iamdanjohnson » Tue Jul 05, 2016 7:51 am

UPDATE 8/8/16
I was very short on help for 8/7 but it was not an issue since we didn't end up running.
With all the setbacks, I need you to let me know if you can still work if you originally said you could and I need a bunch more people the way it looks so far. If you have contacted me along the way, make sure I have you on the list. Pretty much plan on me not remembering at this point.

On race day I like to have between six and ten people. It is two races so you can work both for your race day 1st place points average or you can ride one and help take things down after the race for your average points work average. More details on work averages are on the information page under 2016 rules. Post here or email ktms@fmhsc.com

Some of you from Hank's Place didn't get to finish your work average because of the rain. You could certainly help me out here by sweeping a race and helping in other ways. The owner does not want us to take much of it down after.

Positions I need to fill are:
Gate
1. Dustin McHenry?
2.
3.
4.
Greeter (helps new folks at sign up)
1.
2.

Scoring lane help
1. Ryan Salmans
2.

Sweep (two will also help sweep peewees)
1. John Charlson
2. Jason Chandler (race 1)
3. Dave Rogers
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
Dan Johnson KTM 250 XC
Thanks to the support I get from Debbie, Jadan, Grayson, and Karly Johnson AND Dunlop, Letko, Cycle Zone, Motorcare.

It's all good!

Was bringing motor home, Saturday and cleaning Enduro cross track, and any trail maintenance, also no concessions so we bought 100 hot dogs with buns and condiments for the starving people for Sunday. (FREE) Bring your own water. . Also want to warn everyone that this track is not usable if too wet. It is clay with very little gravel. It does dry well, but conditions are very important. We will keep you posted.
We could use some help cooking around 1:00 and some more grilles needed.. We will be up at the house area north of parking, short walk. Anyone wanting to come out Saturday to help would be appreciated, we may have some trail maintenance to do with all this rain.

I can work where ever is needed for both races. Getting ready for a Colorado trip and don't want to tear the bike or myself up to bad before vacation.

Dan, I would like to do scoring for the 1st race if I could. I'll just tape the clip board to my sling.

My wife is an EMT and would love to work the race if one is still needed. I just need some information to pass on to her. Thanks
