This is our first single format race since we changed the start order on the 1000 class. For this single race we need to put the 1000 class behind the 700 class as we did in the past.
The issue with which class to start first between the 1000 class and the 800 class is always going to be a hot topic. I feel that the 1000 class has done a very good job of moving over in the new format. Some are actually being lapped twice in one race since we have them running with the AA end of things. I believe the 1000 class will be courteous and let the faster riders in other classes through. I would appreciate it if each of you 1000 riders remind the others in your class. I am posting here and will also bring it up at the rider's meeting and on the line right before you start.
There is no perfect solution but with a little effort on everyone's part we can make this plan work just fine.
