Carbondale is a single race starting at NOON

Make sure you plan accordingly.
The home page has the basic information. No camping at this one.
When you get lapped, and most of you will, get over as fast as possible. You don't have to stop, just make a little space and the fast riders will get by. There are a lot of championships being decided and you don't want to be the one that changes the outcome.

So it's been a while since I've run a one race format. Where does the 1000 class line up?

I am a little disappointed Carbondale is going to a one race format because of day light savings time. I believe this takes the enjoyment of racing away from the less experienced riders and clutters up the track.

It's okay, we are just spoiled by split races. Just enjoy it, unless you wanna race in the dark.

Yeah, what he said!
The saddest sound in all MotorSports is the noise the drivetrain makes as you slowly coast to a complete stop.

Hey, wait!!! I would totally be game for a night race :P I've only been back on bikes for a few weeks, but most of those bicycle rides have been made possible by helmet & bar-mounted lumens 8) It'd be great training for that Thanksgiving 100-miler, right?!? :D
If it's got 2 wheels, I wanna ride it!

If only that Thanksgiving 100-miler was happening. Not so this year, unless you are talking about a bicycle endurance race at night, in which case I don't have enough lights for that amount of time. 2hrs max for my lights. Cheapo Amazon ones don't last.

Landahl tomorrow morning? It's super leafy but super fun.
