Bird Dawg down

#1 Post by CTL450 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 12:14 am

Hey guys,

I don't have all the details just yet but I know that Ben (Bird Dawg) had to be life-flighted out of Merwin today. I'm told he was taken to St. Lukes South but I don't know for sure. When I find out more, I'll let you know.

Ben could use your well wishes and prayers right about now.

Hi guys, this is Burd Dawg's wife. Ben is at St. Luke's on the Plaza in KC. He is in the neurological ICU with significant head injury. He has some bleeding in his head and contusions of his brain. He also broke his collar bone, most of the ribs on his right side, has a collapsed lung and broken pelvis and is on a ventilator. I know that he talks a lot of crap, and isn't everyone's biggest fan, but he has a great heart and spirit, and needs everyone's prayers. I will keep you posted on his condition. I just really wanted to thank Shiv and Jeremy for getting my son home safely, I cannot thank you enough.

That is sad news... Love him or hate him, he adds some personality to this place/the series. Best wishes on a speedy and full recovery.
