Two Racers one Bike

I met a guy just last year that use to do some riding. He doesn't have his bike anymore. I was telling him this could work, but I wanted to run it by the Kansas Offroad Members first. We would sign up as two riders in the Trail Riders class and use the same bike. We would not want to be considered to trophy in that class. Or I will just do all the sign up and I would just change riders sometime during the race. I have race this series for many years starting in 2002 through 2007. My new friend has one problem he has yet to be in a race and ride a big four stroke. I know I need to let him get use to the bike, explain rules and explain to him how to move off course and stay out of faster guys or girls way, before we show up. I just want him to get the feel of a race enviroment. Is there a problem with anyone is this series?
