A big promoter thank you

#1 Post by flipstick357 » Sun Apr 22, 2012 9:12 pm

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the riders and crew that came out to walters today. We had the largest turn out in my 4 years of promoting the Race. While 140 is a soso turnout for some of our sites for walters it is a 20% increase in the average for walters and FMHSC. All this on a day with NASCAR in KC and MHSC racing in the same state. The thing that blows me away is despite Dan's warning about tough peewee courses here we had 19 peewees. That is a huge turnout for the peewees.

Also thank you all for the understanding with the trophy shortage. I figured offering cash would help smooth it over. That and pulling out the Keg and opening the tap. That 5 gallons and a stack of Red Solo Cups was gone quick!!

Again thank you all for coming out and "Sucking it up!!"

Thank you for a great race. The whole family had a good time yesterday. Sierra is still telling me how much fun the Pee Wee track was, plus we had our trophys safely packed in the truck, and on the road home @ 3:30 !! Cool.

You can thank my 12 and 9 year old for the peewee track layout. The 3 of us went out exploring Saturday for a new peewee location for this year and they picked that out. I actually thought it was to far from the main pits but i went with their choice. I got several compliments about it and I really cant take the credit that was my kids.

I will pass on the compliments to them

Thank You very much

That was a great course - well laid out, some good tough riding, well arrowed... and even some choices on A/B lines.
Thanks.

Thanks Mike! Thanks to all who helped out, nice flow, well arrowed and best beer anywhere. (Kinda keep the beer thing to yourself...Wirefryer is still sulking...hate to see a grown man cry...)
