Merwin update

#1 Post by rj wohlberg » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:40 am

We've started working on the course for our September 16th race and thankfully we have finally recieved some much needed rain. looking forward to some cooler temps and having everyone back out to Midwest Extreme Park again, it's been too long.
I am looking for race day help as well as well as course set-up. we will be working on the lay-out on Sept. 8-9 as well as during that week before the race. Let me know if you're interested.
As always we will have the full Concession stand open on race day and everyone is welcome to camp that weekend.

Thanks
R.J.

Thanks Ryan, can you work both races ?.

Still looking for help, both set-up Saturday and race day.

Course is looking awsome, the rain and temps have been huge. Long range forecast looks great so far.

Question for ya all, how much or how little of the MX track would you like to see. We will use the live engine start gate but we are up in the air on the track, leaning towards very little.

I would like to see as much as possible used, the track is what makes Merwin unique!

I'm not much of an air guy, but the MX track at Merwin is a hoot even if ya ain't flying about like Ol' Karl  .

I vote for using as much as needed.

The saddest sound in all MotorSports is the noise the drivetrain makes as you slowly coast to a complete stop.
