Track is almost ready have added a few new things and made a few changes. Weather is looking good. As always Melvern is having the Kids Costume Parade, Soup Supper and Haunted Trails Saturday afternoon and evening in town to support local organizations. Dan has added the information to the schedule on the website.

Hare Scramble noob here. Melvern will be my wife and I's first hare scramble and I had a couple questions.

Is there a charge for open practice on Saturday and is the open women's class fee $15 or $30?

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Looks like Saturday riding is no cost other than you and the Mrs. gate fee of $5 each , but do hand them a 20 and sign the waiver to get the window sticker for Sunday as well, and you're covered for the weekend.

As for Open Womens Class, I wasn't aware that we had one, but if She chooses to race the big course, it'll be 30 bucks, unless She tries the 1200 class for an hour, then it's $15.

Don't be afraid to ask the Lovely Ladies 'O Scoring at the Scoring trailer any questions, or to have them point out someone who can walk you thru your first round.

We usually have a scarred Vet Racer of Questionable Reputation (talk about a heavy burden!)assisting at the Scoring Trailer to help out for those new to the Sport.

I will be there early with my G daughter Katie for her PW event, then coast till the late Show.

Practice on Saturday is $10 per person from 1pm to 5pm pay at Gate when you get there. It is only 1pm to 5pm because that is the only time on Saturday that I can have medical personnel on site.

Thanks for the info. Just trying to be sure I bring enough cash.

My wife will probably be running the junior class with her KLX140. I got the classes of another HS series mixed with this one.

I'll be running in beginner class most likely (900s i think).

Looking forward to it!

Facebook says I'm "Going", so it must be true. Just wanted to give you Vet 40+ guys the satisfaction of catching a 500 classer as early in the race as possible. Tim WyreFryer: now you be nice when you make up your minute on me, OK?!?

Really, I have no business "racing" nor intend to "race" anything but the clock. I've ridden precisely 52 minutes since riding support at WR #1 (in MARCH), but that 52 minutes last week was a HOOT!!! I'm just curious to see if I can go 2 hours :P

Besides, this kinda weather on last weekend of October?!??!! Seems a great excuse to get the whole fam-damily outdoors for a few hours, re-acquaint with some of you good folk, and establish a base-line of how much work I've got ahead of me if I wanna do this more for-real in 2017.

See y'all around noon/noon:30 :D
If it's got 2 wheels, I wanna ride it!

Welcome back Tony. It will be good to see you in the pits. This course is fast and dusty so other than a few of the fast guys up front there should always be someone to race with.

Well, well.... Tony B once again proves he has ninja skills in the art of matrimonial negotiations  .

Good to see ya back in the fray.... and I would guess all these years of extreme mountain biking and the Trials work will make you a real pita for the 500s...

Whoop!
