2009 Husqvarna TXC450

#1 Post by Webski » Fri Dec 29, 2017 1:09 pm

This bike has been in boxes for four years. I've attached the story below. All chassis wear items have been replaced. Very nice do it all bike. $4500 OBO. I'm located in the Kansas City area and
can help with delivery.
This bike is way fast but it also has an extremely smooth power delivery. As with all Husky's of this era, it is very well built and rock solid reliable.

2009 Husqvarna TXC450
Purchased New in 2011
Bought this bike as a new leftover from Hall’s Cycles in Springfield, IL. In 2011 and 2012 the bike wasn’t ridden very much due to a hip replacement. Bike was primarily used as a play bike before surgery and then a rehabilitation tool after surgery. After recovery the bike made a couple of trips to Colorado and was used in some Blackjack Enduro races. During this time, we also had several other bikes to choose from in the garage so the bike still wasn’t necessarily the primary bike in the garage. The last ride on this bike was on October 20th, 2013. So the bike was in service for two years and seven months. Never put an hour meter on this one but I would guess around 100 hrs.
After this last ride the bike was torn down and completely rebuilt with all wear items replaced. The engine was not torn down as there was no need. Below is a list of all the parts that are new:
Steering Head Bearings – Swingarm Bearings – All Shock Linkage Bearings – Wheel Bearings – Shock Heim Joint replaced with Needle Bearing – Chain and Sprockets – Enduro Engineering Wheel Spacers – Rear Break Rotor – Front and Rear Brake Pads – Kenda Washougal Tires Front and Rear with New Tubes – Renthal Fat Bar Handlebars – Throttle Tube – Grips – Battery – Clutch Slave Piston – All New Plastic – Guts Seat Foam and Seat Cover
Forks and Shock completely rebuilt by Jay at Halls. All new bushings, seals and fluids. Stock springs installed but softer springs go with the bike as well.

Bike comes with Rekluse Core 3.0 Auto Clutch, Scotts Steering Damper, BRP Handlebar Clamp with Damper Submount – CV4 Silicone Radiator Hoses – Enduro Engineering Radiator Braces – Power Now Carb Vane – Three Extra Oil Filters – Zip-Ty Plastic Skid Plate – Evans Coolant
